Dr Rebecca Vivian- About MeWith an interest in understanding how people learn and a desire to ignite a love of learning in others, I undertook a Bachelor of Education at the University of South Australia. I was accepted to undertake Honours in my fourth year, and it was in this course that I found a passion in research, where I could investigate topics and questions I was curious about.
Following my Honours year, I was awarded a PhD scholarship with UniSA and undertook a PhD in Education in which I explored how university students use social media to support their learning experience. After completing my PhD in Education I joined the Computer Science Education Research Group as a full-time Researcher. With the introduction of the new learning area Digital Technologies, our research group has been busily preparing resources to support teachers in this area. This site brings together some of this work, with my own research interests and a bit about myself. With a love for learning I am currently studying French and teaching myself Computer Science (after being inspired in CSER). I enjoy travel, great coffee, wine, cheese and dancing. I am a Google Certified Innovator. You're welcome to visit my staff website for more information: adelaide.edu.au/directory/rebecca.vivian |
